Dr Guice is a Charlotte native and has been practicing dentistry in the Charlotte area for 10 years.
Dr. Scott P. Guice earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1991. He entered dental school in 1993 at the Medical College of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Dr Guice graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1997.
After graduation, Dr Guice moved back to the Charlotte area and practiced with a large group dental practice for 3 years before opening his own practice in April 2000. For the past 7 years, Dr Guice has built a practice founded on strong principles of integrity, compassion and conservative comprehensive dentistry. He focuses on the whole family from ages 3 to 100 and has taken numerous Continuing Education courses on all aspects of General Dentistry, including orthodontics, endodontics and full-mouth reconstruction. Dr. Guice likes to make certain that children enjoy coming to visit the office and it is not uncommon to see Dr. Guice taking the extra time to make the first visit special.
Dr. Guice is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He donates his services to the Ada Jenkins Dental Bus in North Mecklenburg County.
Dr. Guice has been married for 10 years and has 2 daughters (ages 8 and 3). Spending his free time with his family is his number one priority, but he also finds time to run, bike, swim and play an occasional round of golf. Dr Guice completed his first Triathlon in August 2006 and a Marathon later that same year.

Dr. Julianne Prettyman Colvin originates from Charleston, WV and joined our office in February of 2008. She attended West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV for her undergraduate studies and entered the WVU School of Dentistry in 2001. She was active in the International Association of Student Clinicians-ADA (SCADA), the American Student Dental Association, the American Association of Dental Research, and the Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity. She also traveled to Guatemala during her senior year to provide dental treatment for many adults and children with poor access to care. Dr. Colvin was awarded her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005 from WVU.
Following graduation, Dr. Colvin entered an Advanced General Dentistry residency at the University of North Carolina, in Chapel Hill. She gained valuable experience in complex treatment planning, cosmetic dentistry, and implant restoration. Upon completion of her residency in 2006, she moved to Huntersville, NC and practiced in a general dental practice for a year-and-a-half before joining our team.
Dr. Colvin holds unyielding expectations for high-quality, conservative comprehensive dentistry. She values patient education and carries a passion for developing dentist-patient relationships, where comfort, trust, and loyalty are paramount. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Julianne Colvin is married to husband, Jason, and currently does not have any children. She is an accomplished piano player and an active member of the Lake Norman Baptist Church. She enjoys swimming and spending time on the lake with friends and family. She is an avid college sports fan and loves cheering for the WVU Mountaineers!
